Entering the house leads to the spectacular great room. The curved wall
of windows provide expansive views of the coastal range and the Pacific
ocean. The room is open to the kitchen and the incredible steam-bent oak
bar top.

Open lenticular trusses open the living space in the grand room.
Though these are just prefabricated barn trusses, they've been sanded and
painted and, laid in a semi-circle, provide an intriguing visual effect.
Natural colored light fixtures are actually flowerpots.

The rock wall of the great room is made with lichen-encrusted rocks from the
property. The woodstove provides a backup heat source in times of
prolonged lack of direct sunlight.
