Infrastructure

A big part (and cost) of the process was preparing the electrical and plumbing.  As mentioned the original tub equipment concrete pad was reused to build the new tub on.  Here the outline of the new deck is staked out and trenches for plumbing and electrical are underway:

The two trenches are over 100' in length--one back to the house and one to the new location for the hot tub equipment:

Two new concrete pads were poured--one for the tub equipment and one for the propane tank.  The concrete pump truck brought the wrong size pump lines, so 4 yards of concrete (for the pads and the foundation) were moved by wheelbarrow:

Here is the tub equipment and the retaining wall in place.  There's a lot of plumbing and electrical involved!
